WAS MARSHAWN LYNCH REALLY PUNISHED FOR WEARING A SHOC VISOR?
Does anyone remember when that Monday Night Football game, when Marshawn Lynch was spotted wearing a Tigers Blood Visor for the first part of the game before later on switching for the Smoke 40%.
Why is this controversial?
Lynch has never been one to shy away from uniform customization, previously wearing brightly colored socks and having one of the coolest pairs of cleats in the #mycausemycleats week, featuring a Beastmode Bat Signal design. The big deal around wearing Visors in the NFL is that it poses a potential “safety hazard” as it makes it harder for medics to assess players when their eyes aren’t visible. Visors are making an increasing number of appearances in lower leagues however no major change to the rules has been made in the NFL as yet. This is why the Lynch move to wear a Visor was a brave one, as he may have had to pay a fine to wear it, which no player should have to do for simply changing their uniform slightly.

SHOC is pleased that Marshawn Lynch loves our visors enough that he is willing to risk a fine to play with them on. Hopefully, this action will pave the way for change in the future and maybe one day we will see more of our best players making their in game look that much cooler by wearing a SHOC Visor.
